Windshield suitable for a wide range of semi-shotgun microphones of length less than 28 cm.
The Reference PIA-1 is composed of:
- Cage with single axis swivel and light XLR extension (machined Neutrik XLR bodies)
- Suspension of your choice (name the microphone !)
- Main fabric
- Fur (SP short pile or LP long pile). Color: Black (B), Gray (G) or Black/Gray (B/G)
- Hard protective shell (PIA-SHELL)
Example of reference to order: PIA-1(CMIT, FUR-LP-B/G).
Regarding lightness and efficiency, it is not that simple to upgrade a PIA-1 to PIA-2 or PIA-3. Expecting a MS or double MS version, it is hardly advised to acquire a PIA-2 or PIA-3 directly, which are fully compatible with mono use (inner detachable cables).
